Come and help us welcome visitors to
Kew Palace and the Royal Kitchens!
We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to join our Visitor Support Volunteers at Kew Palace
Kew Palace is situated in the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and welcomes thousands of visitors and families each year. We’d like your help in making sure that they are able to make the most of their day.
As a Visitor Support Volunteer, you will be supporting the team of Hosts at the Palace and in the Royal Kitchens by welcoming visitors and explaining what we have on offer. In addition, there’ll be opportunities to get involved with family learning activities throughout the summer and volunteering at Queen Charlotte’s Cottage at the weekends.
Kew Palace was designed as a merchant’s house in 1631. As a royal palace it was the home of George III and his family. It is a palace filled with the personal stories of the king’s family.

Anticipated time contribution / Next steps
We are flexible about how much time you give us as a volunteer, but ideally you’ll be able to offer us one day per week.

We will also be offering a training session for this role on Wednesday, 26 March which will include a tour with a curator along with an opportunity to find out more about the Royal Kitchen and Kew Palace.
